About the itch.io situation

I'm sure many of you know about what's happening on itch.io. Adult games have been delisted pending a review period. Some will be reinstated, while others will not. There are already posts covering the technicalities, frustrations, and possible outcomes of this situation, so I'll keep this simple.

We have multiple avenues to continue the project. Itch.io is our biggest source of growth by far, and I don't believe we violate their terms in any way. However, if the worst should happen, the solution is straightforward: we can create an SFW version to market and comply with rules and regulations, while the spicy version will remain available, as always, on Patreon or Subscribestar. This project is absolutely NOT going to end here.

We also have other ideas for what to work on next in the creep universe. Say hello to Cathy.

We will continue to make the best game we can, and we have many more ideas to come. The worst you'll experience on your end is a minor delay if I need to tweak a few things. Thanks again for all your support

If interested there a Bill you can sign that should help with this issue by making it so card companies can't block payments unless something is actually illegal. Sign here.

As always, if you'd like to support us directly and get access to the newest versions, you can do so on Patreon or Subscribestar.

right, call me a dumbass, but is there a possibility of this escaping to steam? i can't help but think that it would have a better chance of fighting this than itch..

Steam is undergoing the same pressure but it started sooner with them and they are further along in handling it. And while steam does have a better shot at finding an alternative or fighting it legally, the big two cards hold approx 90% of the market share. Fighting them without an alternative is virtually impossible, you'd go bankrupt instantly. Paypal also needs the big two so that's not an option either. Patreon also folded to these rules many years ago.  I think I can still put the game on steam, hopefully it does well as the steam is filled with interesting games. Competition seems much fiercer there.

It's so annoying, the only reason I use Itch is for the adult games.
